Leap of Faith

This acrylic painting was inspired by an annual phenomenon set in East Africa, known as the Great Migration. A scene of impatient wildebeest leaping and crossing the Mara River amidst the awaiting deadly jaws below and the scavengers from above. Millions of wildebeest, Burchell's zebra, antelopes, and other herd animals take part in this migration in search of fresh pastures for the potential new generation. Tracking from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya, Africa.
