This piece is rendered from a photo I captured at our local zoo; I have always been grateful for our zoo's conservation programs which are saving endangered species and allowing everyone to be close to these animals. Rhinos are facing significant endangerment primarily due to poaching driven by the illegal trade of their horns, habitat loss, and declining population numbers.
