The Present Moment (White lion)

Already as a child, the idea of passing time and the preciousness of life, worried me very much. Despite a difficulty in considering the space of what it represents, strong of a youth ready to conquer the world, parasitized by a filter of invulnerability typical of the young age, I observed that some events around me, already gave me signs.
From the height of my 61 years, it happens more and more often to look back, to recall memories, realizing that indeed, totally powerless, things do not last. At the moment of an awareness, it is obvious, life itself lasts only for a blink of an eye. Faced with such clarity, such truth, I can only accept it. That is the order of things. But strangely, it is not the best moments, the great and small happiness that I thank from the bottom of my heart that will remain to me at the end, but well the small moments of life too short, painful trials, love too brief, All that ultimately made me grow, which will certainly leave more traces.
Like the reign of a King, even with the strength of a lion, we are powerless to our future. Only the present moment is our last opportunity to see, touch, feel and love. From nowhere, we enter a time into the light, whatever the duration, we shine with our shards and our defeats, maybe leave a trace, then we will return to the shadows, to erase us sooner or later from the memory of those who follow.
This painting is the symbolic representation of the ephemeral moment of our journey, of our path of life so short and precious, of our solar time showing too briefly between two clouds, which leads me to think that we must live each moment fully in all its eternity.
