The Watcher
Tigers are often seen as fierce and untouchable, but with The Watcher, I wanted to capture a quieter side—the innocent curiosity of a tiger cub. Using oil paint, I focused on delicate layering to bring out the softness and intricate detail of the fur, highlighting the beauty of the animal’s unique pattern. The blurred background was intentionally softened to draw the viewer into the cub’s watchful gaze and tender expression. This painting is a tribute to the quiet power and wonder found in wildlife, especially in its most vulnerable forms.
