Living in close proximity to Yellowstone National Park offers a unique privilege that greatly inspires my work. The majestic bison, often referred to as the ruler of the plains, embodies abundance, freedom, and strength. Its commanding presence garners respect and evokes a sense of honor. Through my artistic process, I utilize brush strokes, drips, and a palette knife to create rich depth and texture in my paintings. Additionally, I incorporate gold leaf to capture the radiant glow of life surrounding these magnificent creatures, ultimately bringing them to vivid life on canvas. Each piece serves as a tribute to the resilience and beauty of nature that I am fortunate to witness daily.
